Mrs. Linnie Elizabeth Renfroe Austin, age 92, a resident of Brundidge died Thursday, June 7, 2012. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge with Reverend J.C. Turner and Reverend Rick Hays officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 9, 2012 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge. Mrs. Austin is survived by her children, John Woodrow Austin and his wife Lois of Brundidge, Frances Walker of Troy and Margaret McDurmont and her husband Bobby of Brundidge. She is also survived by her Sister Kathy Cavender of Brundidge, 4 grandchildren, Jeff King and his wife Karla, Jennie Giles and her husband Albert, Tammy Sawyer and her husband Von and Stephanie Turner and her husband Jonathan, 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Austin was preceded in death by her husband John Larry Austin, her parents, John Allen Renfroe and Lela Pearl Renfroe, her son-in-law Don Walker and 3 brothers and 5 sisters. Pallbearers will be Jeff King, Cal Cook, Zack Cook, Allen King, Jonathan Turner and Von Sawyer. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
