Homer D Jordan, age 79, of Banks, AL died Sunday, March 3, 2013 at his home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 2:30 pm from the Enon Baptist Church with Reverend Ken Baggett, Chaplain Phillip Durr and Reverend Averytt Walker officiating. Interment will follow in the Enon Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2013 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge. Mr. Jordan will lie-in-state from 2:00 pm until 2:30 pm at the church. Mr. Jordan is survived by his wife Carolyn S. Jordan, daughters, Debra (Greg) Vinson and Anita Walker; grandchildren, Robby Price, Dee (Katie) Price, Adam Vinson, April (Ashley) Tew and his great-grandchildren, Ayla Vinson, Austin Tew, Raeny Price and Reid Price. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Evans, Donald Jordan, Randall Jordan, Richard Long, Clay Fleming and Danny Knotts. In-lieu-of flower memorials may be made to the Enon Cemetery Fund or Alacare Hospice.
